We are going for Rafflesia!!!

This post should be done last week... but... as u all know la, i busy ma. Last week, my friends and i (the whole chinese mechanical engineering gang) went to a mountain called Gunung Gading. It is somewhere near Bau!? If im not mistaken, and if i am, please correct me. The main objective for this trip is to find the world's largest flower: the Rafflesia. Earlier we phoned to a personnel who work at the reserved forest there to check on whether got flower bloom there ma?? If no flower is bloomed, why susah susah naik bukit wo!!!!?But do u know what the personnel reply??
Personnel: Kalau ada , ada lar. Kalau tak da, tak ada lar
Ok, this wont weaken our spirit to seek the Rafflesia... But somehow we change our objective to a simpler one... that is to 'play water' at the waterfall...
At the parking bay there, outside the reserved forest... will take few hours to go up the mountain
Before going into the reserved forest, sure have to read some info ler...
Ok... we just take a quick glance... not really read... whakakaka
But the board said please read wo... ok la ok la, read mai read lor...
This is the map explain on how to make it to the top of the mountain and also how to go to the waterfall
We read some facts bout the Rafflesia... First first, before the Rafflesia bloomed, it will be in a its dinosaur egg shape... slowly... it will bloom and the interesting fact is that Rafflesia only blooms for 7days!!! and eventually it will die.
Enjoying the flora and fauna at the reserved forest
The tree is so huge and tall... make me feel like i'm just a little cute monkey for the tree...
Half way up to gunung gading, we saw this legendary batu apek... Ok!story time: Once upon a time, there is an apek who went into this forest to find some herbs. And dont know somehow he got lost in the forest. For many many days, he stayed lost in the forest. One day, when he want to go out from the forest to eat roti canai, he saw this batu (stone). This typical uncle fast fast pray la when he saw this huge stone!!! He pray to the stone and hoping that he will be blessed to get out from the forest. And thereafter, he go to this stone everyday to pray and he finally he got the way out from the forest. This is why the stone is called batu apek till now.
This journey wont be bored with Mr Happy... hihi.. very cute Mr Happy shoes weared by my friend

Ok... here is another legend of the waterfall three... you all read by urself lar... lazy to explain lor. Before we entered the forest, we are told by the personnel not to 'play water' at this waterfall coz he said got some 'dirty things' there lar, normally if girl play at this waterfall, she will get crazy suddenly, shouting etc... Im ok lar if go down to this waterfall coz im a boy ma. But one of my fren is gay, not sure he will disturb by those 'dirty things' ma?? whakakaka
Finally, we reached the waterfall 7, this is the nicest waterfall in this forest. Is around 12-1pm when we reach here... we didn't manage to make it to the top of the mountain because of the time factor. So we decided to play play water here lor.

After that, we departed from the waterfall... down there, there is a small pond to store the water flow from the waterfall... This pond got many small small fish geh... U see, the small small fish bite my cute foot; a bit like fish foot spa like that... So good so good. I wished that i can stayed longer here... but we are rushing for dinner... Bye bye small small fish
We failed to see the Rafflesia. But we gained something that is far more valuable. That is the fish foot spa..whakakaka
Around 6 pm, we reached 'the Chef' restaurant. We will eat here and at the same time we will sing karaoke here...
Got karaoke to sing... so nice ler this place... 'yau sik yau cheong' (can eat can sing). We leaved this place at around 12 am, which is the time for the restaurant to close... Enjoy the day very much, but tomorrow... is another hectic day for all of us coz need to rush for assignments, thesis, projects..etc
